Over the course of four generations, Gluth Brothers Roofing has established a reputation for skilled craftsmanship and the best in customer service for both residential and commercial clients.

In 1886, William Gluth established a small roofing business from his home in Hammond, Indiana. His son, Henry R. Gluth later joined him in business and in 1918, named the family business Consumers Roofing Company, using the subtitle H.R. Gluth and Sons.

In the same way his father taught him, Henry Sr. mentored sons Chester, Robert and Henry Jr. in operating a strong, quality-focused roofing business. In 1956,Consumers Roofing Company was officially incorporated and operated under the leadership of Chester, Robert and Henry Jr.

Upon the retirement of Henry Jr. and the subsequent growth of the Gluth families, Henry’s sons formed their own company and incorporated under the name Gluth Brothers Roofing Co., Inc., carrying on the tradition of high quality roofing services and keeping the business in the family.

From its humble beginnings at the home of William to its current location on 167th Street in Hammond, Gluth Brothers Roofing has grown to serve clients large and small throughout Northwest Indiana.
