Our History:  William Gluth started Calumet Roofing in 1886, which was taken over by Henry R. Gluth. He renamed the company Consumers Roofing Co. in 1918 ( Also called H.R.Gluth & Sons). In 1956 the company was incorporated and operated by his sons Chester, Robert, and Henry Jr.

The company moved to larger quarters on 165th St. in Hammond, then to larger quarters at 6701 Osborn Ave. Hammond, IN. Henry Jr. retired in 1993 and Gluth Brothers Roofing Co.,Inc. was formed and is operated by Henry's sons Brian, H. Russell, Eric, and Randall; all qualifed in the roofing and sheet metal trades.
